SPICE UP YOUR BREAKFAST!


Are you the type to rush out of the house without having the chance to prepare breakfast? It happens to the best of us, but meal prepping can definitely help you stay ahead of the game. This tasty Spiced Oatmeal recipe that I’m sharing is extremely easy to make, filling, and can be prepped the night before!

Spiced Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup oatmeal

  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla essence

Optional Toppings:

  • Walnuts

  • Blueberries

  • Blackberries

  • Dried cranberries

  • Banana

  • Chia seeds

  • Shredded coconut

Directions:

  1. Place ½ cup oatmeal in a bowl

  2. Add the ground cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, maple syrup and vanilla essence and incorporate into the oatmeal

  3. Pour 1 cup of boiling water into the bowl and stir

  4. Let the oatmeal set for 3 minutes

  5. Add the toppings of your choice and dig in!
